In addition to her All-Star recognitions, Maude would earn multiple academic awards, MVP at the provincial level for the gold medal game, and Pionniere of the League (Athlete of the year) at Cegep. Following these accomplishments she signed with the University of Ottawa Gee-Gee’s where she would spend the next 5 seasons. During her freshman season she was named Rookie of the Year across all sports at the University. She would go on to earn team MVP a number of times, as well as a nomination to the RSEQ All-Star team. Maude would finish with a GPA of 9.4, while earning a degree in Psychology, paired with a Masters of Science. In each year of her studies she would make the Dean’s List, as well as the Academic All-Canadian list. Maude finished her college career as the record holder in almost all goaltender statistics for the University of Ottawa.

In 2019, Maude was given the opportunity to represent Canada at the Winter Universiades in Krasnoyarsk, Russia where she would earn Silver. Following the conclusion of Maude’s university career, she was given an opportunity to continue her hockey career at the professional level in Kazakhstan. During her first season of professional hockey, she earned Player of the Game during the semi-final game of the EWHL. Her team would earn the bronze medal in the European league, while earning gold in the Kazakhstan’ National Championship. She would then be named top goalie in the country for that season. Her second season she made the move to Budapest, Hungary where her team would go undefeated on the season and win the EWHL playoff title.

Her coaching career started at age 12 where she would work with Minor hockey goaltenders locally in Rimouski. In her final year of high school, she became the goalie coach for the Sport-Etude program, coaching younger goalies in the program when she wasn’t busy with her own team. It was here she developed a passion for developing goaltenders, and would continue to do so by operating summer training camps during her off-seasons, including through the University of Ottawa. While in Hungary, Maude was in charge of the development of young goaltenders for the home club she was playing for, while also taking part in a program to teach lower income families how to skate. Today, Maude is still very involved in the development side of hockey holding positions as Hockey Consultant for her former team in Rimouski, as well as Goalie Coach for Louis Riel high school. She also dedicates time to coach goaltenders of all age’s at SHIFT Performance & Wellness Centre in Ottawa, Canada.
